He was predeceased by: his parents, Basilio and Giuditta; and his siblings, Normas, Federico, Mariano, Anita, Tersilla, Osvaldo and Roberto.
He is survived by: his wife Vittorina Pighin; his children, Laurence and Louise; his daughter-in-law Flavia; his sisters, Alcide and Giuliana; his siblings-in-law, Maria Pighin and Monsignor Bruno Fabio Pighin; and his caregiver Blaine McLellan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home (431 Christina St S, Sarnia, ON N7T). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church (1011 Oak Ave, Sarnia, ON N7S1J4). An entombment was held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (1885 London Line, Sarnia, ON N7W).
