In loving memory of Elfrieda Long of Sarnia, Ontario, who departed this world on July 17, 2025 at the age of 97. Elfrieda leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mark Anthony Long; her son Jimmy; and her son-in-law Roger. She is survived by: her children, Tom (Fran), Margo, Mona, Mark (Audrey), Erwin, Daniel (Tina) and Jason (Carolynn); her grandchildren, Christopher (Natalie), Jeni (Mark), Lisa (Kent), Jason, Lori, Rachel (Brandon), Leah, Caleb (Marleen), Joel, Eric of Logan, T. J. and Kyra (Brock); and her sister Analiese. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 Victoria St N, Sarnia, ON N7T5W9). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sarnia Gospel Hall (1791 London Line, Sarnia, ON N7W1C2). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (1016 Colborne Rd, Sarnia, ON N7V3K7).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts made to any of our local homeless shelters would be appreciated by the family.
