It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eliza Gruening (Sarnia, Ontario), who passed away on August 24, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Kurt Gruening; her parents, Arthur Vogt and Lydia Vogt; and her siblings, Walter Vogt and Ursula Dobert.
She is survived by : her close friend Hartfrid "Hart" Hentschel; her children, Manfred Gruening (Susan), Patricia Hastings (David), Fall River, N. S. and Eliza Lendzian (Rolf); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Gruening-Hay (Jason), Peter Gruening (Shanon), Christopher Hastings Germany (Isabel), Stephan Hastings, Germany, Roland Lendzian (Adriene) and Derek Lendzian (Sarah).
