He was predeceased by: his child Paul Abma; his parents, Andy Abma and Anna Abma; and his brother Hans Abma. He is survived by: his spouse Joyce (Marshall); his children, Joanne Wilson and Dave Carney; his grandchildren, Meagan Wilson, Matthew Wilson and Jordan Sweet; his siblings, John Abma (Grace), Dianne Hibrant (George), Cathy Neal (Bob), Verna Abma and Liz Steinfield (Allan); and his sibling-in-law May Abma.
