He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Gallant and J. Frank Gallant; and his brothers, Roger, Rickey and Deryl Gallant (Ronalda).
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Wells (Rawle Parris); his grandchildren, Nathan Wells and Zion Parris; and his siblings, Gladys Martin Chatham (Gary) and Frankie Gallant (Audrey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
