He was predeceased by: his former wife Yvonne Carey; and his siblings, Raymond, Francis, Austin, Irene, Madeleine, Joan, Debbie and Olive.
He is survived by: his children, Don Carey (Joanne) and Jenny Guibert (Mark); his grandsons, Warren Carey, Wes Carey and Wade Carey (David); and his siblings, Ron Carey, Janet Caouette (Guy) and Marie Dubois (Luc). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
