He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth van Leeuwen and Govert Verberg; his siblings, Jaap, Fer, Johan, Annie, Alice, Bep, Ceciel, Wim and Godfrey; his former wife Isabel Gross; his stepdaughter Mary Gross; and his grandson Robbie Grant.
He is survived by: his wife Valerie Verberg (Panik); his former wife Mary Anne Englehart (Evoy); his children, Catherine Verberg (Michael), Norine Verberg (Yvon), Lloyd Verberg (Liana), Paula Froelich and Joyce Verberg Buchan (Mike); his grandchildren, Devon (Peter Hanson), Francis, Eric (Leo Grenier), William Verberg, Charis, Moriah (David Froelich), Alena Baudoux (Hannah) and Cameron (Gillian Verberg Buchan); his great grandchildren, Emma Plain, Chloe, Dante and Farrell Braithwaite; his stepdaughters, Jen Houle (Cole) and Anne Clements (Bruce); and his stepgrandchildren, Amanda Grant, Erin Clements and Sam Gross.
Memorial donations made in memory of Hank to Habitat for Humanity or Bluewater Health Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
