He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgina Gignac and Xavier Gignac; and his siblings, Jeanette, Armand, Leo and Laurent.

He is survived by: his children, Hubert Gignac, Robert (Desiree) and Sarnia; and his siblings, Alice Seguin, Alfred "Fred" Gignac (Irene) and Fernand Gignac (Jeanne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
