He was predeceased by: his family Janko Simrak; his wife Mary Simrak; and his parents, Nicola Simrak and Anka Simrak. He is survived by: his children, Mirra Lefort and Rob Simrak (Tammy); his grandchildren, William 'Bill" Murphy, Jessica Murphy, Jillian Lefort, Kylie Simrak and Jake Simrak; and his sibling Draga Strahinic. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
