He was predeceased by: his daughter Eilidh; his brother Duncan; his parents, Iain and Ann; his parents-in-law, Rex and Ivy Garrett; his siblings-in-law, James Mott and Sylvia Blain; his nephew Jimmy Mott; and his niece Susan "Sam" Meston.
He is survived by: his friends, Dave and Oriel Macintosh; his wife Susan; his daughter Mairi; and his siblings-in-law, Jill Macintyre, Kay Mott, Cindy Garrett, Rex Garrett (Marnie), Paul Garrett (Ann), Mike Garrett (Wanda) and Keith Squires.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph's Hospice and The Huron House Boys Home.
