He was predeceased by: his parents, John Neilson and Mabel Neilson; and his siblings, John, Ron, Carol, Annette and Dolly.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Cary); his daughters, Mary (Alberto) and Patti; his grandchildren, Sarah and Seth Lang; and his siblings, Gerry (Irene) and Susan Laur (Les).
