He was predeceased by: his parents, Phil Bird and Mary Jean Bird; and his brother Byron. He is survived by: his siblings, Valerie (Bob), Karen Ann, David, Gary, Phil Jr. and Paul (Saundra). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
