He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Thompson (Nee Wright); his children, Scott Heggie (Laura), Shari McIntyre (Greg), Dale Thompson and Cindy Thompson Bettridge (Marty); his siblings, Cathy McDonald (Dale), Ron Thompson (Marion) and Sue Coke; and his mother Eileen Ferguson.
