He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Dewey and Louise Dewey; and his siblings, Leslie (Winnie), Ralph (Marion), Pine, Cecil, John, Doug and Margaret.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Dewey; his children, Randy (Christine) and Jennifer Diepeveen (Walter); his brother Clifford (Joanne); and his sisters-in-law, Joyce, Sadie and Norma.
