He was predeceased by: his children, Penny and Harold (Butch). He is survived by: his wife Edna Marie Middleton (Shrigley); his children, Linda, Sheree, Brenda, Laurie, Jan, Tami, Crystal and Jewel; and his stepchildren, Maria, Viviane and Maurice.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) guide dog program, and to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
