Louise Mary Maola Obituary

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Bluewater Health, Louise Maola passed away at the age of 66 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dear wife and best friend of Ennio "Joe" Maola for 40 years. Loving mother of Cory (Janice) Lacroix and Nick (Jennifer) Maola. Cherished grandmother of Lee Lacroix, Rachel Lacroix, and Carson Maola.

Dearly missed by her mother Leah Brun and her father-in-law Domenico Maola. Survived by her brothers Gerry (Sue) Brun and Frank Brun, sister Annette (Paul) Cooper, sister-in-law Grace Maola, brother-in-law Ray (Brenda) Maola, and sisters-in-law Gina (Tony) Savo, and Lisa (Dino) Caschera. Louise will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

Predeceased by her father John Brun and by her mother-in-law Erminia Maola. Louise's family and friends will remember her for passion of decorating her home for every occasion and holiday, specifically Christmas. Louise was also an avid gardener, baker, animal lover, and a retiree from the Royal Bank of Canada. Cremation has taken place.

Visitation Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Service A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at St. Benedict Church, 1011 Oak Ave., Sarnia, at 11:00 a.m.
