She was predeceased by: her husband Joao (John); her daughter Maria Catarina; her parents, Joao Amaral and Maria Conceicao Amaral; and her siblings, John Amaral, Gil Amaral and Natalia Teixeira.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Blais (Harvey) and Oscar Macedo (Jennifer); her siblings, Hildeberto (Carmen), Azores and Margarita Pacheco; and her sister-in-law Maria Jose Amaral. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
