She was predeceased by: her husband Morrell Cox; her son Douglas; her parents, Mary Robertshaw and John Robertshaw; and her siblings, William and Francis.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Reyneker (Hank) and Gail Hopkins (Barry); her grandchildren, David Syrie, Stefanie Syrie, Deny Di Felice (Rob) and Lindsay Hill (Jordan); and her great grandchildren, Baya, Hunter Watson, Greyson Hill, Luca Di Felice, Micaella Shewchuk and Alexandra Di Felice.

Winnie was a Covid survivor from the early stages of the pandemic. Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service is being held at McCormack Funeral Home.
