She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlo Shaw and Ethel Shaw; her son Geoff Batiste; and her stepdaughter Nicole Petruniak. She is survived by: her husband Ben Petruniak of Sarnia; her children, David Batiste (Alison) of Waterloo, Danika Batiste of Cremona and Alberta; her daughter-in-law Susan Jackson of Watford; her grandchildren, Ethan, Leah and Bodee; her sister Nancy (late George Hart) of Maryland; her stepsons, Leon Petruniak (Julie) and Roman Petruniak (Tanya); and her former husband John Batiste.
