He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Broad and Sarah Broad; his parents-in-law, Howard and Emma Wheeler; his sister Evelyn James (Elwood "Pepper"); and his brothers-in-law, Charles Hetherington, Lance Sproule, Craig Miller and Ken Carder.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra "Sandy" Lee Broad; his siblings, Irene Hetherington, Gilbert Broad (Nancy), Pearl Carder and Donald Broad (Barbara); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Miller, John Wheeler (Margaret), William Wheeler (Sandra) and Shirley Greton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
