It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Metta Cornelia Willemse (Sarnia, Ontario), who passed away on November 5, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Metta had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Metta may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Bert Willemse Sr.; and her children, Bert Jr. and Koenraad. She was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre Ltd. (102 Victoria St N, Sarnia, ON N7T5W9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (102 Victoria St N, Sarnia, ON N7T5W9). A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at the Lakeview Cemetery (1016 Colborne Rd, Sarnia, ON N7V3K8).
