He was predeceased by: his wife Linda; and his parents, John and Peggy. He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Crystal) and Pete (Antonella); his grandchildren, Robert, Luca, Ashton and Seth; and his siblings, Reita (George), John Jay (Nancy) and Marty (Stephanie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Michael's name may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association.
