He was predeceased by : his siblings, Dimetra (John), Dimetre (Maria) and Basile "Bill". He is survived by : his wife Debbie (McReynolds); his children, George Lazarakos (Erica) of Sarnia and Marina Childs (Jason) of London; his brother Tony (Marina); and his sibling-in-law Fotoula. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (131 Southdale Rd W, London, ON N6J2J2). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:50 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (493 Springbank Dr, London, ON N6J1H3).
