SAVOY, Octavia – Peacefully at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Octavia Savoy "TT" died on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the age of 98. Loving great aunt of Jacqueline Maness-French. Beloved daughter of the late Fredrick & Christina. Dear sister of the late Joseph (Theresa), Edith Mattie, Mabel Noade and Mary Timothy. Cherished aunt of Joseph and wife Jean. Cherished great-great aunt of Lacey (Tyler), Corey (Felicia), Kailey (Patrick) Maness. Great-great-great aunt of Andin, Evelynn, Manessa, Bryleigh, Rhiyz, Meilah, Havana, Selena and Nakoa.
Octavia worked very hard all her life. She was a great cook and baker. Octavia liked getting her hair done and going to the market. She loved watching TV especially her soaps, Court TV, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, CSI, Cops and America's Most Wanted. Octavia had a whole schedule each and every day and stuck to it. She enjoyed having her 3 Labatts Blue beers at night. She was so loving and caring but strict as a whip. Octavia will be missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Friday, March 17th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Windsor.
