He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Brooks and Patricia Demeray (Orval); his brothers, Cecil Brooks (Alice) and Don Brooks (Karen); and his nephew Justin Brooks.
He is survived by: his daughter April Koch (Dana) of Calgary; his granddaughter Autumn Koch; his sisters, Brenda Langlois (Dan) of Courtright, Bonnie Madere (Jack) and Cindy Viggers (Lou King) of Sarnia; and his nieces and nephews, Andy (Summer), Stephanie (Bryan), Jeremy (Lisa), Jeffery (Coral), Kelly, Shawn (Jenn), Tiffany (Dave) and Autumn.
