She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Robert "Barry" Thompson; her children, Mike Thompson (Allison) and Jennifer Allison (Brian); her grandchildren, Hannah, Ava, Jack, Laura (Trevor) and Matthew (Chantal); and her great grandchild McKinl.

“I met Paulette some years ago through a good friend and we shared some really good times over the years at social gatherings and some getaway weekends. She was a lot of fun to be around. She loved going to Bayfield, and talking about her family. I didn't get to see much of her over the last 2 plus years as it was with everyone and feel very sad about that. My deepest condolences go out to all those who are touched by her passing and pray the coming days bring you peace.”
