She was predeceased by: her husband James Allen; her parents, Stewart Ross and Edna Sinclair; her stepfather Angus McGillivary; her brother Victor Ross; and her sisters-in-law, Nancie Allen and Mary Ross.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Allen and Suzanne Earnshaw (Peter); her grandchildren, Rebecca and John; and her siblings, Maxine Ainsworth (Larry) and Douglas McGillivary (Carolyn).
