She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law Marie Gidley. She is survived by: her husband John Strickland; her grandchildren, J. J. Conquergood (Sandy) of Corunna, Stacey MacDougall (Matt) of Oil Springs, Meredith and Myles MacDougall; her brother-in-law Ralph Strickland (Margaret); her niece Alexandra McCabe (Dave); and also S. A. England. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
