He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Sarah (Gavin Giles) of London; his grandson Max Giles; his mother Janna; his siblings, Ken (Pat), Diana Jacob (Jim Rooney), Sylvia Maaten (Steve MacDonald) and Jo-Ann Loyer (late Duane); his sister-in-law Lynda Maaten (late Richard); his siblings, Judi Pattison (Dave) and John Selman (Kelly Armstrong); his brother-in-law Jim Carter (late Jo Anne); and also, Helen and Bruce Selman.

In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation - Myeloma Research Fund, the L.H.S.C.
