He is survived by: his wife Mary (nee Braaksma); his children, Susan and Les Douglas, Peter M. Zantingh and Jody Taylor and Brad and Jen Zantingh; his grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Josh, Nick, Quinn and Fay; and his brother Henry.
