He was predeceased by: his parent Louis Blommaert; and his siblings, Nellie Hinks, Emmy Ide, Ann Blommaert, Henny Blommaert and Willy Blommaert.

He is survived by: his parent Irma Blommaert (Van Damme); his brother Tom Blommaert; and his siblings-in-law, Jerome Ide, Kathleen Betts and Joanne Blommaert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
