He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Douglas Firth (Kim), Charles (Jackie), Tracy (Scott) and Gregory; and his grandchildren, Amber, Brandon, Cheryl, Devon, Keegan, Jaydan, Gregory, Nicholas, Nichole, Samantha and Matthew.

Memorial donations made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or St. Joseph's Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
