He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Nichols (Vosbourgh); his sons, Wayne (Jamie) and Kevin (Shiela); his siblings, Wilfred (Betty), Murray (Evelyn), Lloyd, Ken (Mona), Dorothy (Harold) and Ruth Ann; his parents, Ernest Nichols and Inez Nichols; and his parents-in-law, Lee and Mabel Vosbourgh.
He is survived by: his son Brian Nichols (Sandy); his grandchildren, Jody, Lisa, Tara, Jessica, Sarah and Craig; and his sister-in-law Margaret Nichols. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
