It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Slatterie (Sarnia, Ontario), born in Seaforth, Ontario, who passed away on November 4, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Frieday and Rita; her husband John "Jack" Morrison Slatterie; her brother Bruce; her former wife Edna Hiusser; and also Lynn Phoenix.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy (Paul Pinel) and Debra Slatterie; her former wife Marian; her siblings, Elaine Hunt of Guelph, Joanne Frieday (Rolf) of Wellington and Ron Frieday (Bernice) of Brampton; and also, Michelle, Bonnie, Krista, Mark, John, Joanne, Joel, Rick Davis, Cindy Davis and Patti Farnham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
