With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Topley (Sarnia, Ontario), who passed away on January 28, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Steven departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Steven leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Topley. He is survived by: his wife Sue Topley of Sarnia; his children, Trudi (Steve Simpson) and Russell Topley (Paula); his grandchildren, Bryony Simpson, Sam Topley and Ben Topley; his stepdaughter Treena Bell (Pete Dixon) of Brantford; his stepgrandson Alan Bell (Kendra Jordan) of Sarnia; and his granddaughter Hannah O'Donnell.
Those who wish to honor Steve are encouraged to make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Sarnia Lambton, who have greatly helped Steve and Sue traverse this journey.
