He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Michael Gilroy (Brenda), Patricia Sowinski (Ron) and Peter Gilroy (Sharon); his grandchildren, Carla, Sarah, Theresa, Jessica, Jenna, Julia, Michael, Melissa, Zachary, Nicholas, Emily, Suzanne and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Lily and Trent Tait; his sisters-in-law, Rosemary Dryden (Don), Margaret Adamson (Lloyd), Suzanne Jaap Hornby (Hardy), Monica Carter Sault Ste (Neil) and Marie; and his friends, Gene and Bev O'Connell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
