With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gary Roberts of Sauble Beach, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gary left this world on February 22, 2026, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeline Roberts and Norman Roberts; his sister Francis; and his brother-in-law Douglas McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Edith (Edie); his child Drew (Val) of Baden; his grandchildren, Liam and Lennon; and his sibling's children, Wendy, Heather and John. He is also survived by one grand-niece and several grand-nephews.

A funeral service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Downs and Son Funeral Home (145 Queen St W, Hepworth, ON N0H 1P0). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Expressions of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society, Brightshores Owen Sound Hospital Foundation, Waterloo Regional Health Network Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
