He is survived by: his girlfriend Cathy Kruisenga; his children, Carolyn Oknianski (Michael) and Juhani Paulaharju; his siblings, Irmeli Niemi, Kari Niemi (Joiner) and Harry Niemi (Lorena); his grandchildren, Caylee Oknianski, Tanner Oknianski (Chanelle) and Chance Londo; his great grandchildren, Rowen, Madelyn and Brynn; his siblings' children, Jacob Niemi, Jessica Sztrimbly (Joe), Eliisa Joiner (Ben), Markus Joiner (Faith), Ronan Niemi, Aleksi Niemi and Nikko Niemi; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brodie Sztrimbly and Brayden Sztrimbly; the mother of his children Mirjami Niemi; and his caregivers, Sierra and Jodie. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
