She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Lauri Nenonen; her children, Viki Virta (Daniel Butt), Martin Virta (Judith) and Glen Virta; her parents, Arvo Nirkkola and Martta Nirkkola; her siblings, Aino Hautala (late Armas), Gertrude Kesti (late Edwin), Ellie Okapiec (late Louis), Arvo Nirkkola (late Barbara), Mauri Wainio, Toivo (late Nora), Taito (late Eileen) and Tauno (late Nora); her nieces, Judy Wilson (John), Sharon Hooey (Bob), Lisa Bier (Kurt) and Lori Godinez (Miguel); her nephew Kevin Nirkkola (Lisa); her grandchildren, Stephen, Crystal Sari and Lilia; and her great grandchild Dash.
