She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Shiels and Jessie Shiels. She is survived by: her husband John Muirhead; her children, Catharine Muirhead, Shiela Brito (Don), Ian Muirhead (Maria) and Sylvia Oeschger (John); her grandchildren, Nadine, Emma, Derek, Spencer, Hyland, Martha (Josh), Rachel, Naomi, Sarah, Tobias, Anna and Markus; and her great grandchild Talitha. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to St. Luke's Cathedral – Altar Guild or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
