He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Hicks and Glenys Hicks; and his grandparents, Claude, Marjorie Mills, Albert and Blanche Hicks.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eric Hicks (Debbie) and Teri Esson (Robert); his sister-in-law Lorena Hicks; his siblings' children, Todd Hicks (Stephanie), Tom Hicks, Josh Hicks (Alicia), Victoria Kowan, Andrew, Ella, Sofie, James, Amelia, Elisabeth Esson and MacKenzie Esson (Kevin Martins); and his friend Jana. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Lifespring Church (891 Peoples Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6C3W1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
