He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ritchie and Beatrice; his siblings, George Ritchie (Seija), Evelyn Kinnunen, Neil, Jack Ritchie (Diane), Cecilia Smith (Harold), Margaret Saunders (Randy) and Deanna Ritchie; and his grandchild Sydney Baird.
He is survived by: his sisters, Susanne Fisher, Sheryl St. John (Ken) and Sally Ritchie; his wife Patricia; his children, Laurie Baird (Paul), Chester Ritchie (Liz) and Verna Lee Ritchie (Chris); his grandchildren, Matthew "Mattman" Baird (Sable), Megan "Poppa' of Poppa's Sweetie, Andrew "Chum" Baird, Nicholas Ritchie (Danielle), Joseph Lecompte, Ethan Bell, Kirklend "Bucko" Bell and Noah Bell; and his great grandchildren, Lilah Lapensee, Andre and Lapensee.
