He was predeceased by: his former wife Angela McCaig; his parents, Ernest McKay and Marjorie McKay; his siblings, Eleanor and Bruce; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Brooks, Robert Brooks, Tom Brooks, Ted Brooks, Henry McCaig and Alfred McCaig.
He is survived by: his sons, John and Alex; his stepchildren, Joyce Swanson, Joan Tregonning and Steven Tregonning; and his brothers-in-law, Terry Brooks, Richard Brooks, Bill Brooks, Jack McCaig, Cleave McCaig and Raymond McCaig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a donation to a United Church or to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
