He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret; his parents, Giuseppe Sarlo and Assunta Sarlo; and his siblings, Ralph (Pat), Clara and Irene.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle; his children, Jo Tappenden (Bob), Lori Walker (Philip) and Allen Tough (Nina); his brother-in-law William Stewart; and his grandchildren, Jen (Kraemer), Kait (Mario), Daniel (Mel), Heather and Paige.
