She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Sr.; her son Christopher (late Norma Jean Rowan); and her parents, Assunta DeSimon and Gabriel "Charlie" DeSimon. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Mary Lynn Teris (Gary), Kelly Bonell, Sarah Bonell, Christopher Wood (Kaitlyn), Jillian Wood, Jennifer Boyle (Tim) and Brian Bonell; her great grandchildren, Brian Bonell, Silas Bonell, Brody and Coen Wood; her grandchildren, Scarlett, Teagan and Kendall Bonell; her siblings, Clara Venturi (Joe), Faustina "Fritzi" Vernelli (Dan), Adeline Prisco (Neil), Alice Orazietti (Primo), Frank "Bud" DeSimon (Algesa), Henry DeSimon and Joyce Milligan (Corwin); and her siblings-in-law, Zita Penrice (Wilfred), Kenneth "Biff" Bonnell (June), Bill Bonnell (Bonnie Miller), Corwin Milligan of Brimley Michigan and Bonnie Miller. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Precious Blood Cathedral (778 Queen St E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A2B1).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to St. Vincent's Place would be greatly appreciated by the family.
