She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Merrett and Lois Merrett. She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara Merrett-Fill (Lyle) and Susan Merrett-Jobst (Paul); and her children, Chris Fill (Caleigh), Helena, Lauren Perreault (Kurt), Jade, Asha, Theron, Odin, Kurtis Jobst, Wesley, Sarah Mageron (Mike), Wyatt, Russell, Everett and Kristen Jobst.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Greenwood Cemetery (27 Fourth Line E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6C3W8).
