He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Poirier and Blanche Poirier; his sister Cecile (late Don); and his sister-in-law Linda McMillan (late Patrick). He is survived by : his children, Paulette (Dan) of Sugar Island, Michael, Kevin (Carri) of Kingston and Marley (Justin) of Dundalk, Ontario.; his grandchildren, Carrie (Alan), Ryan, Shannon, Cody (Katie), Brandon (Danielle), Bryson, Brianna (Zack), Chelsea of Soo and Jaclyne of Dundalk, Ontario.; his great grandchildren, Zarah, Emet, Arianna, Dominic, Brielle, Scarlett and Bryce of Soo, Michigan.; his siblings, Albert (Louise), Yvonne (late Jack) of Chatham and Bob (Eunice); and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Pratt (Bob), Donna MacKenzie (Ian), Chris Dore (Diane) of Toronto and Joe Dore.
Due to the pandemic a private Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish with Father Paul Conway officiating.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
