She was predeceased by: her grandson Kurt Dawson; her husband Willam Robert Allen "Bud"; her parents, James Murray and Nellie Murray; her mother-in-law Lillian Currie Allen; and her siblings, Cora Shackleton (Ernie), Bob Murray, Margaret Merrifield (Curtis), Billy Murray, Carole Murray-O'Neill and Gloria Murray-Seppala.
She is survived by: her child Laurie Dawson (Rusty); her grandchildren, Lindsay Collins (Nick), Louie Dawson (Nikki) and Devin McMillan; and her sister Betty Corbett (late Jack). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A 2L9). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
