Francesco leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Francesco’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Francesco will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Angelina Perna; children: Clorinda and Carmine; parents: Carmine and Rosetta Perna; grandparents: Natale and Clorinda Borrelli and Francesco and Emilia Perna; uncle: Zio Ettore Perna (predeceased), Aldo Borrelli; aunt: Mary Ann Borrelli; cousins: Paula (Neil), Julia (Scott), and James (Rachel); lifelong friend/brother at heart: Saverio Beltrano (Franca); children of friend: Michael and Olivia; daughter's boyfriend: Kaeden Laitinen; sisters-in-law: Jen Plaxton (Shane) and Tammy Rundle (Daniel); business partners/friends: Joey Greco, Sam DeSumma, Mark Febbraro, Carlo Spadafora, Dom Buonomo, Chris Walls, and Mike Lebel; other: Dr. Xiao, Deacon Rob Thibodeau; and many nieces, nephews, work family, and loyal customers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or the fundraiser 'In Memory of Francesco Perna - Support Lung Cancer Research' would be greatly appreciated.
