He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hicks and Pat Hicks; and his stepdaughter Jamie. He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Gartshore (Dan) and Jessica Charrette (Nathan Neveau); his grandchildren, Dean, Gray, Isaac "Bubba", Addison and Olivia; his significant other Penny; his stepsons, Adam, Jeff and J. D. (Lindsay); and his siblings, Mike (Norma) and Mary (Lewis).
